It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

Blood and Belonging by Michael IgnatieffIgnatieff travels around war zones throughout the world and talks to people about why they're fighting, and discusses the nature of nationalism. A slightly-less-than-great time is had by all concerned. Young Donuts learns about people who aren't sheltered, middle class, self-centred honky trash, and changes (hopefully) for the better by getting interested in politics.
