My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

*hides eyeliner*In defense of goths, traditionally the difference between an emo and a goth was goths were allowed to be cheerful and had a sense of irony.
Of course this can vary, I'm oop north where things seem to be more relaxed.
