curvylittlegoth writes, "My Grandma is crazy, crazy mad. As well as regularly putting curses on us all, she once fell asleep in the armchair on a sunny afternoon, Barley Wine in one hand, Peter Stuyveson in the other, only to wake up several hours later to a Darth Vader sounding fireman. She thought she was in HELL as the smoke and flames billowed round her..."
Are any of your relatives this loopy?

There are some cool people, but for the most part, they're batshit fucktarded. However, my cousin Barbara puts the rest of them to shame.
Barbara grew up, got married, and had seven kids. Then she "realized" that she was gay. Got divorced, got a girlfriend. The girlfriend had nine kids herself! They were all very happy, though, and the kids were well-adjusted and loved the two together.
Good for them, I thought. Do what makes them happy.
Then Barbara "realized" that she wasn't actually a lesbian, she was a man trapped in a woman's body. She started going by "Bobby," and began the living as a man, preparing for a sex-change operation.
Hey, whatever makes Bobby happy in life, I thought. While Bobby's brothers and sisters have difficulty accepting his life choice, my immediate family has no problem with it. We help Bobby through when the girlfriend breaks up with him. (The girlfriend was still a lesbian, so she only wanted to be with a woman.)
After six months, Bobby "realizes" that she's back to being "Barbara," and is in fact a heterosexual female again. Is now engaged to a farmer.
Again, I'm all for what makes her happy, but I can't even keep up anymore.
Oh, and sometime during all of this Barbara/Bobby starts some weird company and embezzles a bunch of money from investors. Oh, and s/he wrote a TERRIBLY-written novel that was an extremely thinly-veiled account of her battles with her brothers, sisters, and mother over her homosexuality, which only serves to cause more strain to their relationships.
I'm really glad I live on the other side of the country from that side of the family.
