This is a question Inappropriate crushes

As a teenager I was obsessed by my piano teacher - I hated playing the piano, but carried on because she was so lovely. OK, it was because she used to wear very plunging necklines.

I even stopped practicing because the worse I was, the more she'd sit at the piano to show me how to play a piece and I could stand behind her and look down her top.

Aaaaargh. Confess your own crushes so I don't look like a breast-obssessed stalker.

By the power of Greyskull!
At the height of my adolescent onanism I was stirred into action by pretty much any female, including my sister (whom I watched in the shower). But even I was surprised when I felt the old chap swelling in response to She Ra, He Man's bird.

Heeeyy you guuuys.
Seeing as somebody’s already admitted to fancying Cheetara and stolen my ‘thunder’ (oh no) I’ll fill you in on my mate Ash’s embarrassing crush confession.

He’d been seeing his girlfriend for about 6 months and they were having one of their frequent confession sessions where they admitted their deepest, darkest secrets to one another.

The subject of childhood crushes comes up and Ash decides to fess up about the ‘funny feelings’ that Mikey from the Goonies (aka Sean Astin/chubby hobbit from lotr) used to give him when he watched the Spielberg masterpiece in the 80s.

Little did he know that his other half had to tell just one person (who just happened to be the biggest blabbermouth in town) and by the following night he was trying to work out why the whole pub kept dropping random Goonies quotes into conversation.

He is still doing his level best to live it down.

Spandex-clad woman in a plastic tube
Anyone remember the clip to Video Killed the Radio Star? As a five-year-old sitting watching Saturday morning TV in my underpants, I felt the very first stirring in my loins when I saw her in her tight-fitting sparkly silver space suit outfit.
Just checked the clip out on You Tube and she's not all that. Guess I wasn't very fussy back then.

B'Elanna Torres
From Star Trek - Voyager.

Wrong, very wrong, I know (especially as she had a cornish pasty stuck to her head) but I was 11 at the time.

Weather girls with little boobies
Julie Reinger (Look East), Becky Mantin (ITV)
and my favourite, Wendy Hurrell (Anglia).
The only inappropriate thing about them is mentioning their little boobies to Mrs Paralytic every time they're waving things at weather maps. Her (rather specific) crush is rough-round-the-edges firemen with Irish accents. It can't have anything to do with the fact her dad's a retired fireman. After all, my mum's not a retired TV weathergirl.

She didn't teach me...
3rd Story....

Had a teacher at school and she taught the lower ages or something - I was about 15 when she started and I remember that we all thought she was well hot. Her name was Miss Fox too.

Looking back, I don't think she was all that either....

Posh and Arty
I must have been about 14 at school. And we got a new student teacher for art. She was a bit of hippy with a posh accent, no one else really liked her but to me she was spank bank material...

That must be where my taste in women stems from. Posh hippy/ rock chicks... Ooooooh yes :o)

Narf
I was once in the garden, and was mucking about with a bicycle inner tube (as you do), and latched it to a wall and pulled, the fucker fell down and crushed my foot. I screamed "OH FUCKING SHIT FUCK!". Rather inappropriate as we had two religious zealots round.

Yes, it is the wrong kind of crush, but I've never wanted to get off with a goat, which we'll no doubt see here soon.

Oh Gods. Where do I start.
Over the years I have had the weirdest crushes.

They include (but are not limited to): -

1) Jeremy Brett (played Sherlock Holmes)
2) Roberta Taylor (Inpsector Gold from The Bill)
3) Stephen Fry
4) Tom Baker
5) Alice Cooper
6) Robbie Coltrane
7) Johnny Vegas
8) Billy Connolly.
And most worryingly (but I was v.young)
9) Ian McAskill. Yes. The weatherman.

It's just not right. Not right at all.

Cadbury's caramel bunny
The Maoi - Isn't her voice the one and only Miriam Margolyes (sp?), i.e., Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films? Definitely inappropriate when taken from that angle.

My own inappropriateness was a crush on my mates dad when I was 14ish. He was a real alky minger with nicotine stained fingers and bad teeth though. I've never quite understood that particular hormone surge.

Stalker joins the family
My GF's best friend is pretty good looking, in fact shes the type that get's all the blokes trying it on in the nightclub. She worked with my GF at the cinema along with a twat of a bloke.

Said twat would keep trying to no avail to get in there (presents, asking for a date etc) but to no avail. So he marries her sister.

Thing is, none of us are convinced he likes the sister and certainly rather neglects her so we reckon it was just a way to keep seeing his idol after the cinema closed down.

Sicko.

Regarding length, he got it caught in his zip and went to hospital for stiches!!! Made my day that did.

I can't be the only one
The Cadburys Caramel Bunny. An animated *rabbit*. Until I was at least 15.

That filthy, filthy voice... oh, she was naughty.

I wonder if I can get my girlfriend to wear a big pink bow around her neck.

Hermione Granger
as portrayed in the Harry Potter movies. She's turning into some posh teen totty, and no mistake. Although, when I first saw her, I was three times the actress's age.

Helen Daniels
From Neighbours.

I know it's wrong

I was 13 or something. There was a scene where she sat down and for a millisecond you could see her knickers. Just. How fortunate that I'd recorded it so I could slow mo it over and over and over.

I'm in therapy these days.

Name Withheld
There was this girl, who shall remain nameless...

I liked her loads and it was a huge crush that, looking back, was wrong - I thought she liked me, truth be told, she was a psycho hell bitch and I should have seen it.

She treated me like utter shite and I got nothing out of it, but I went back for more because I liked her lots.

Took me a while to realise that buying her drinks, presents, taking her places, etc, etc, was her way of just using me - then I wised up and realised that she was destroying my life and the "friendship" just wasn't....

Erm, I've lost the point of this apart from it being a rant...

Oh right, crush - erm, it was a crush, it was about 8 years ago and it was wrong and I'm over it now. Really. And I'm not still angry about it in the slightest. Much.

Ms Moore - science teacher
During my GCSE's I rather fancied my science teacher... a 30 yr old lady by the name of miss Hilary Moore.

The other lads used to take the piss out of her as she had a gap between her front teeth which earnt her the nickname "The rabbit".

Perhaps I took pity on her or something...

Nice legs though, 'specially on those tall stools they had in the science labs... (she caught me looking once too).

During 6th form she was my form tutor and on an open evening thingy I was a suited and booted 18 yr old and caught her looking at me "funny".
I asked her what was up as if I had left my flies open or something, the reply: "Err... I'm just surprised how good you look in a suit".

Kept me going for weeks that did ;-)

Oh god it's all coming back to me now...
Poirot. When I was about seven. I didn't even like the programme itself but would watch it just to see David Suchet in his French, moustachioed glory.

I soon moved on to a more conventional passion for Bros - which strangely seems more shameful than the Poirot thing from my adult perspective!
