Granny in NZI have lived in the UK for about 6 years now and this time last year was home in NZ for my grandmothers 87th birthday. A fantastic family affair - 6 weeks ago I found out that she has high grade B Cell Lymphoma with a massive tumour growing in her throat - no food and nightmares of choking followed. She has had 14 radiotherapy treatments and on Saturday I spoke with her on her 88th birthday - still around and still kicking and I cried unashamedly in front of my friends....she is one rocking woman!!
