mate of mine was talking to a regular...at the pub we frequent. Having a genial chat about Mothers day and what they were up to. Regular pipes up that his mother died on mothers day the previous year. What my mate said next was beyond belief, she pipes up 'well, think of the money you'll save' yea gods, i just wanted to disappear. Then the regular says 'spose you're right' and starts laughing. Cue mixed state of shock and embarresment...
