This is a question My most gullible moment

Someone once told me that gullible wasn't in the dictionary and I went, "yeah yeah ha ha" but when they were gone that didn't stop me checking. What was YOUR most gullible moment? Zero points for buying an icon on b3ta.

Captain Birdseye
I managed to convince one of the older ladies I used to work with in Tesco that all the Captain Birdseye products had to be removed from the shelf.

After she enquired as to why, I told her he had been promoted to Admiral Birdseye, so they had to update all the packaging.

I only told her the truth after she made a right fool of herself in front of 10 of her friends!

Hook...line...and sinker. She is still as gullable and lovely as ever!

You're lying.
The products are called Bird's Eye.

Captain Bird's Eye is a mascot who is not named on the package.

Try again.

Yes but...
...his stripes or uniform would still change so the packaging would need updating.

That would be a much better wind up in fact, sending your lady friend to the freezer aisle with a bottle of Tippex to add another stripe to his jacket.

Digeridude
did you go and check a packet of frozen peas for that fact?

who gives a fuck. I can easily believe someone would be gullible enough to fall for this, even if it's not exactly what it says on the packaging.
