This is a question Gyms

Getting fit should come with a health warning, warns PJM. "In my pursuit of the body beautiful, I've broken three exercise bikes and two running machines, concussed myself and, most distressingly, bruised my testicles." And he's yet to try and get out of his contract...

i like swimming
but fuck me, swimming lengths is dull. so in a fit of inspiration, i bought myself a waterproof ipod case, which comes with waterproof earphones, genius.

the only problem is, every time i wear it to go swimming ( so about once a year, then ), people think it's an open invitation to stop me and talk about it.

why? why?? why would you see someone thrashing around in the water, submerged in it and clearly busy, with an ipod on to boot, and think, oooh yes, there's someone who'd love to be interrupted for some inane conversation? twats!

Wow!
They make a case and headphones that allow you to listen to your iPod underwater? Tell me more about it!

(Sorry...couldn't resist. But I have to say, I would probably trump 'wow, a cool underwater ipod' with 'do you know you have your ipod on in the pool?' At least this would allow you to test the strength of the headphone wire as you throttled me).

Brilliant La Swipe...
...so tell me, as an avid swimmer myself - what's this Ipod case like?

it looks not unlike a plastic bag!
it was about 30quid from overboard, i think, google it. not absolutely infallible as you do get water in your ears sometimes, but overall it improves the swimming hugely. also useful for taking the ipod on the beach/catamaran/general holiday goodness!

.
They probably just want to glance at your tits.

Glance?
Use of the word 'glance' almost lifts that comment out of the 'offensive' tray.

probably
I would use the term "Furtive Glance"....

Glance askance?
