Sort of karmaUsed to work for Holiday Inn in Ranmoor, Sheffield. Rubbish job, rubbish hours and rubbish pay. I was treated like s@@t.
Eventually just left and got a much better job.
A few months later, with no warning whatsoever, the hotel closed down and is empty to this day. Hah!
Felt sad for some of my colleagues who were suddenly unemployed.

When was this?as about two years ago the Holiday Inn chain was sold to an investment company who had us "rationalise" some of their assets.
