Sue Denham writes, "I once slipped out of work two hours early without the boss noticing. In my hurry to make the most of this petty victory, I knocked myself out on the car door and spent the rest of the day semi-conscious, bowking rich brown vomit over my one and only suit."
Have you been visited by the forces of Karma, or watched it happen to other people?
Thanks to Pooflake for the suggestion

of a time at school when I was the one being pushed around, and ended up being pushed into a massive wooden dresser type glass fronted cabinet. This being a Welsh Village primary school, it was a solid piece of old, functional furniture, but my, did it wobble when my ten year old form was propelled into it. I thought it was going to topple over and kill me, or at least trap me forever underneath it's immovable form, so the blood curdling scream I emitted was born of real fear, and drew the Headmaster from his office next door at some speed.
The boy who had caused the kerfuffle had nowhere to hide, and whether or not corporal punishment was allowable in those days I do not know. But in Welsh Village primary schools. what the Headmaster said, went. He was the law, and he was clearly a believer in ensuring karmic retribution, by dint of his own personal intervention.
I remember that the boy in question was wearing green shorts with red piping along the seams. I don't remember what colour his T shirt was as from where the Head had him bent over to give him six of the best, I could only see his behind.
I don't believe in karma, but that day, I definitely believed in the power of Headmasters.
