I have done an awful lot of acid, and not once have I felt the compuction to see if I could fly or do other acts of destructive stupidity
if anything, I tend to feel more intelligent and contemplative, though this is without independent verification. And others around me on the drug seem to be equally mellow, though some get lost in their own thoughts and find it difficult to meaningfully communicate. So when I hear acid stories of people doing acts of infantile dickery, I can only surmise that they are either lies or that the person had some deep preexisting mental deficit or dysfunction that the drug is exacerbating
