One daymy flatmate Nick and I were talking about 2001 and the pivotal scene where HAL sings "Daisy Bell", and we decided to sing it ourselves.
Only we didn't sing it.
We roared it.
The name of the game was to produce as much volume as humanly possible. Any questions of music or rhythm went straight out the window, as did our 'singing'. It was not unlike a tribe of rutting wookies. The entire block of 20 flats heard us, as we found out later.
The weirdest bit? It was three in the afternoon and we were both stone-cold sober.
