No one likes link threads. This is the Friday Night Shut In Thread.
Why aren't you out chugging glasses and slapping arses? Come inside and reveal all.

So after 4 hours 70% of those who have bothered to vote think Al is a prick
www.b3ta.com/questions/offtopic/post1576090

Edit; to be fair to Al, since highlighting the poll the vote is improving in his favour.

Question: Mrs Battered and I are considering hiring an Au Pair. What interview questions should I ask?

Aye up !

Bored with that thread now.
I'm officially not a racist, 98% Equality and Diversity training.
I correctly stated that "Sam is a spastic" is an offensive if accurate statement.

So Gorgeous George is sticking it to the ELITE by ruining their by-elections. Love him of loath him?

Alt: What are you going to be panic buying this weeked? I'm going for a bottle cleaner and some beer.

'Get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged'.
The Beatles there, with their racist classic. I've got my old login back, and am rather pleased about it. When did you last get something back? Did you want it, or was it unwelcome?

Alt: What would you like for dinner?

Alt alt: Imagine this: no gun, no knife - it's a one-on-one and now we gots ta fight. Now imagine me, teabagging your gran, whilst curling one out onto a glass coffee table. I can't fucking believe you're into this kind of thing. You fucking foul cunt. Seriously - how do you get off on that? You need help.

Who would you like to be?
If you could be one other B3tan for one day who would you chose and why?

Alt: Best gadget that you own?

AltAlt: Worst booze you have ever tasted?

It's only fucking Friday!!
Get. The. Fuck. In.

Today is my last day at work for 11 glorious days. If ever I needed a holiday, now is the time. What do you lot have planned for the weekend/Easter?

I am pub lunching in the sub today for sure. Waterline here we come!

Alt:
Best thing about today? Apart from it being a Friday AND payday AND sunny AND my last day at work? Did I mention it was my last day at work?

JOY!

I assume everybody has massive queues of idiots in all their local petrol stations?
We should start another scaremongering rumour, and see if we can bring the country properly to its knees.

I've heard there's going to be a shortage of cider this summer, on account of the unseasonably warm weather this spring.

Alt: yesterday I bought a bottle of water for the Big Issue guy outside Boots, and his dog. What was your last random act of kindness? Did it make you feel smugly benevolent, or just patronising and high-handed?

New Question of the Week vote....

So Sonisphere 2012 has been cancelled
although the website doesn't give an official reason, I would guess they haven't shifted many tickets.

It's a shame as I was going to buy a ticket nearer the time, but now I have more money to spend on Donnington.

EDIT - Oh, tell me about things that have disappointed you.

Thursday's Child has far to go
But luckily not too far until the weekend. What ephemeral crap can you tell us about yourself - what day of the week were you born on or what star sign are you? Do you believe in any of that?

Alt: if you could ban something (from existence, not from b3ta), what would it be??

Alt alt: the pope is now bollocking America for the Cuba embargo. Should they listen?

Lets set the world to rights.

What three things need to be done to sort out the whole of humanity?

I'm talking big, think big over a 100 year timeline.

It's another shiny morning! I could get used to this.
So, my fellow B3TANS, what has the recent run of warm weather inpired you to do? Have you started a diet/fitness regime so you can fit into that slinky bikini/spandex budgie smugglers? Have you bought half of the stock of the local garden centre to transform your outside space? Have you succumbed to the 'spring clean' bug and bleached your abode from top to bottom?
C'mon guys & gals, you must have some inspiring stories to tell!

Alt: Following on from my 'cooking bacon' rant of yesterday, what's the most belmworthy advert/sales pich you've seen?
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 7:50, 98 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Is it time for an evening thread?
It's after six, I'd say that counts.

Question? Okay. Aren't drugs great? I think codeine is a wonderful thing. What do you think is great?

Alt: Did you do anything fun today?
(, Tue 27 Mar 2012, 18:17, 177 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
A scottish question
No, this has nothing to do with sheep or single malt (well, at least not until my friend's stag night, anyway). I'm attending a wedding, and have been asked to wear a kilt. Can any scottish b3tans tell me whether it's considered bad form to go with a ghillie shirt as opposed to a jacket?

So, apart from the "fight" between Reverend Fister and Quentin
what has been the most tragic thing you've ever seen?

NEWS THREAD
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17515992

Ok so this guy is a racist cunt and I have no sympathy, but I can't help but think that people say racist stuff on sickipedia/youtube/etc everyday with no consequences. But when people threaten to blow up an airport or make racist jokes on Twitter they get prosecuted for it.
Thoughts/Opinions?

Alt. Oh fuck it, Lunch?
(, Tue 27 Mar 2012, 12:16, 99 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
So as poimnted out in the previous thread women get periods, but they can wear skimpy clothes when it's hot in the office
this probably balancves things out. What other inequalities between the sexes annoy you?

alt: There is no one of consequence in the office today, so i might fuck off at lunchtime, where would you fuck off to?
(, Tue 27 Mar 2012, 10:38, 226 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
Good morning
What does the day hold in store for you?

Perhaps the highlight will be sniffing the dried blood in your mum's pants (you know, the stains you *really* like, that only happen when she's forgotten to change her cunt rag) it's a real treat for you isn't it? In fact, if you had the chance you'd probably eat some black pudding made with her menstrual remains. Go on. Admit it.

Perhaps it'll be something as mundane as planning what you'll have for lunch, or hoping that your boss will have a mild cardiac infarction.

Whatever it is. Share it.

Evening Thread!
I summon you, b3th! I someone you, Jeff! I summon you, CQ!

I summon all those who would waste their evening discussing their tea on here!

I summon all those who would post youtube links to things other people probably don't care about!

THIS IS YOUR TIME

Alt: should Al be stepped for breaking OT?

A new CD I had bought arrived in the post today from popular beat combo "Orange Goblin".
Oh, and it's my birthday. Wish me happy birthday, or talk about your latest purchase of something.

I went to an enormous Anglo-Indian wedding on Saturday
it was much fun and i was drinking and eating from 3pm until 4am, i still feel rough today though. Do you like weddings or hate them, i have another 9 I've been invited to this year.

alt: Do you give to charity or are you too cynical about where the money actually ends up?
