I am officially fucking bored
Did you go to Uni? was it worth it? Did you enjoy yourself? Is your degree usefully in the workplace?

alt: great quotes

altalt: what skillz do you wish you had?

Altaltalt: anyone like F1? looking like it'll be a topsy turvy season

it's definitely lunchtime
what are you having?

alt: are you comfortable with your body and being naked? do you strut around like a turkeycock or do you scuttle to cover up every last bit of wobbling flesh? how much would someone have to pay you to streak down your high street?

You have £10 and 30 minutes before you die.
You must use that time to spend and enjoy the money, not to do any soppy bollocks like kissing loved ones goodbye before you snuff it.

What would you buy?*

Alt: Do you believe that the UK economy is growing? (based on your own experiences not industry data).

*Try to avoid obvious answers like beer or drugs.

Oh man, bad dreams about hospitals and aliens and hypnotheropy and stanly knifes to cut out the alien implants.
Woke myself up shouting in my sleep. BUT THEN, I had an awesome dream about following a (human) space rocket in a car.

It's werid how dreams can feel so powerful and strong, like they're real, until you've woken up properly and all that magic and imagination feels so unimportant and pathetic.

We're coming up to the half way point of the week, anyone interested in this?... www.startreklondon.com/ .

What do you reckon, slimming world or weight watchers?

Well if no one has any further questions for Vippers
And it seems that he has returned to his fabulous new life without us, I declare the limp beginnings of an evening thread.
To start you off, what would you like to see the return of?
Or are some things best left in the past?

What are you having for tea?

What band would you like most to see, but can't?
Because they're dead/split up/no longer around. Mine's either the Airplane, or New Riders of the Purple Sage.
Alt, how was lunch? Mine was piggly ace.
Alt, alt www.lovefood.com/journal/opinions/15251/dinner-tea-or-supper
I call it tea, and therefore am working class. Meh.

What strange tasks should I ask my new PA to undertake for me?
Must not be sexual or anything that would get me fired.

Alt: If you were to arrange a bash, where would it be and what would you plan?

Please note: this question does not ask about lunch, as you're all a bunch of lardies who could do with skipping a few meals.

That's quite enough of that.
I am reliably informed that the holographic Tupac that was recently unveiled was really very impressive (unlike Tupac himself, who was a stage-school dwarf with 'John Wayne Syndrome', a gay 'tache and zero MC $killZ). As Lusty remarked to me, it won't be long before cloth-eared dunces will be able to attend a beyond-the-grave Michael Jackson show using the same technology.

But surely this is a (smooth - lol) criminal waste of such wizardry? Is a gig by a squeaking bleached-skinned nonce really the best application of this? What would be better use of this shit?

Alt: 8 hours of sleep a night: too much? Not enough? How much to you get and do you feel it's enough? This one is dedicated to /OT's resident Welshman, AA.

I've added the drinks menu
For the Apple to the calendar.

What time are you getting there?

Alt; What's your excuse?

Well that last thread has died.
What single lyric gives the easiest earworm?

Alt: Something else.

Ooh. Stick you. Your momma too - and your Daddy.

I have been real busy today
Stripping paint in my kitchen, filling some gaps in the plaster, clearing out one of my outhouses and preparing for next week's Paul Smith shoot.

I just have to apply another layer of filler, then sand the window frame down and I'll be ready to paint.

Hopefully won't ruin my nails.

What have you bumlords been up to today, and do you have a Paul Smith modelling gig to prepare for?
(, Mon 16 Apr 2012, 18:17, 72 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
So, would you?
Discuss.

When people smoke outside the back door of my office
the smell comes in through the vent pipe of the air con unit next to my desk.

Since I'm obviously not going to do the mature thing of waiting until someone is smoking, opening my window, politely explaining the situation and asking if they would mind standing further away from the door when smoking, how should I vent my impotent rage at them?

What's the worst Film you've ever seen?
I think mine has to be either, Babylon AD or Sex and the City.

Alt: When did you last have the option of a normal or a large pasty and if you recall correctly you had the large and very nice it was too?
(, Mon 16 Apr 2012, 13:00, 205 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
that thread is broken
Would you go back to uni/education or could you not face the "rigours of academia" any more? What would you study?

Alt: best smell worst smell?

Things you are 'definitely going to do'.
I'm going to write and illustrate a story for my daughter, ideally in time for her birthday in July. I've got the backstory and plot worked out already, but I've a feeling it'll be next year's birthday it's ready for - that said it's a little more grownup that is suitable for a four year old anyway. There are some graphic sex scenes, for one.

What are you 'definitely going to do', apart from my mum, obv.?
Alt: It's Jeffstock this weekend. I am excited. Are you?

A Monday morning de-cluttering thread
Are you a hoarder or do you bin off your possessions? It was a "free listing" weekend on eBay this week. Are you "into" buying/selling on it? Best and worst sales/purchases?

Alt:
How many different types of weather are we going to have today? How many times will I have your Mum?
(, Mon 16 Apr 2012, 6:40, 247 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
That last thread is a bit cluttered.
Have a new one.
