Sunday needs it's own thread
I've been DIYing like a boss. Only burnt myself on the steamer once, only steamed off plaster once and only the one blister forming on my thumb.

now for drinking tea.

what have you been doing like a boss?

Sleeping.
Went to the bootsale this morning and found fuck all to buy.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 15:52, Reply)
is that because scary people got there at
4am and bought anything interesting
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 15:54, Reply)
A little bit.
But it also had something to do with the fact that I didn't need to buy baby clothes, children's toys, or DVDs.

What happened to the days when I could come home with a boot full of saleable loot?
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 16:16, Reply)
Found a boss pair of, er, Hugo Boss sunglasses earlier.
I'm jamming in the conservatory with a glass of wine, shades on, doors open, laid back disco music on and am having a fag every now and then. Sunday has been bossed so far.

I've just been out shopping with Ma', had a lovely day.
Ma' bought me two pairs of 50% lenin trousers and two really nice shirts that are really light and air'y. I also filled my granny bag with fizzy pop, I got 28 cans in total, should last a while. I got some food to make for lunches next week, pasta salad is gonna be the theme.

I'm just watching Tommy Robbinson get owned on Big Question on the iPlayer.

I've been doing loads of stuff on AmazeDogs, it's gonna be awesome.

Have we got some Midlands sort of place for a bash?
I'm looking at Lighty here.

I know you're off to London but for Northern based persons a central event would encompass all comers.

EDIT - And Dylan boy.

I lived in Birmingham for a while
I'm sure we could come up with something if people were willing.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:13, Reply)
I tried a couple of years back and didn't get much interest
But I'd certainly come to one.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:15, Reply)
Birmingham is the obvious choice
You may be able to entice northerns down, but I reckon a lot of Londoners would be reluctant.

All you need is a good pub.
Handy for the station and a selection of hotels for a variety of different budgets.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:21, Reply)
No shortage of pubs and gaffs in Birmingham.

I'm struggling with this one, Jeff
I think you are trying to say that Cardiff is an armpit? But I can't make that work...

Sorry.
I missed the 'p'.

But well done, you're right.

Had I been on the ball I would have brought the family down for the weekend
We've got friends there and there are zoos and shit. But I know that Mrs Upinblue has already planned other activities for that weekend.

I doubt it berk.
I don't have kids, but my sister does, and she's quite attached to them.

Haha
I'm too sleepy to post a proper reply to berk, so this will do...

Just a thought.
I work weekends but a spin down the M1/M42 in the mile muncher wouldn't be a problem.
