it's a piss poor indictment of where our priorities lay but if the money isn't enough, do something else.

The government do a very good job of presenting the whole of the public sector as hate figures
They like to cherry pick the information so that people think that across the board all public sector workers have the holidays of teachers, the pay of council leaders, the pension of Fred Goodwin, etc. I DONT GET THESE PERKS IN MY PRIVATE SECTOR JOB SO WHY SHOULD THEY???

You are entitled to a vote every five years
Which may or may not have some bearing on who makes some of the decisions on how it is spent. That is all.

Also, public sector workers pay tax and NI too.
They may not be able to draw much of it back as pensions though.
