cork usage 5-10 years ago was unsustainable.
It might be more managable now. But it needs to be saved for wines that actually need it, and home made isn't it.

The industry would have been in decline anyway because of cork tree decimation. Better that it's in decline for lack of use and that there are still some fucking trees left
