Fuck 'em
Although I would suspect that there are now hardly any Police officers still serving who had the massive payouts from policing the miner's strike, I still have no sympathy with them. They (as a group) were happy to sign away their rights to strike in exchange for extremely good pensions, healthcare and the enormous overtime payments they got so, as I say, Fuck 'em.
