Since we're all putting photos up
you now all have the pleasure of a lightly photoshopped (to add contrast and glow, not to make me not a candidate for mingers.com) me to look at in my profile. Um... yay?
(, Wed 2 Jul 2008, 15:55, 64 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
yay!
And double yay for language students with photos!
Who wouldn't employ us? Seriously!

Yay for languages! I especially like that you included one with pretty dress and alcomahol :) I should get one of me in my b3ta t-shirt sometime soon, or my forthcoming Pants-On-Head Retarded one from Zero Punctuation!

*blushes* thank you, I had a few spots in that photo (I've been using it unshopped on Facebook for ages) but oddly I only look okay in photos I've taken... the rest of the ones of me tagged on Facebook involve rather more chins and gurns than I'd like ;) also my hair's not that dark but it's been dyed so much lately that I don't think it'll take any more...

*makes this her new Facebook photo*

It's not fair.
I only came on this website because I thought I'd be the prettiest one.

That was from when I was meant to be a bridesmaid but I had a stupid Italian Cultural Module exam (on a saturday, seriously) so missed the bloody ceremony.
Luckily the whole wedding party was waiting outside for me with gin and wine. And the bride cried because I turned up. Her first tears of the day.
*napolean dynamite style "yessss" noise*
Stupid crappy italian exam.

Edit - BGB, don't be silly, you have lovely pierced boobs! Have a midget gem and give us a smile. :)

See...
I know I'm not pretty.
But I've got the knives to make pretty people look worse than me...

Saturday exams are epic fail. I had French translation on a Saturday morning this year; it was my penultimate exam and I had to get up at 7.30, leaving Mr Maladicta in his warm cosy bed on his DS because he didn't have to go anywhere till 10.

Aww, good that you made the wedding though! *loves a nice wedding*
(, Wed 2 Jul 2008, 16:07, Reply)
I've just found some irony
Anyone lost some?
(, Wed 2 Jul 2008, 16:08, Reply)
@ BGB
I second what Lucy said :) you're awesome and you've had the guts to get very sensitive things pierced that you'd have to put me under general anaesthetic to even consider!
(, Wed 2 Jul 2008, 16:15, Reply)
@ K2k6
*blushes* I never dream about who I want to dream about. This is why Mr Maladicta found me clinging to the side of the bed like a startled weasel one morning when we'd not been together long, and when asked what was wrong I could only murmur "Jeremy Clarkson".

He likes to make rude gestures and shout "POWER!!!" when we watch Top Gear now.

I once woke mr van pelt up to tell him that in post caesar salads they use anchovies in the dressing to make it super salty.
I have no recollection of this at all but I know its true because I remember learning that fact and thinking he'd be interested.
he wasn't.

I am going to work out how to make the photo a bit more interesting too - shop in a kitten or two and add some eyeliner ;) *blushes again and wonders if her cheeks will catch fire*

I had had a sexytime dream about JC - I don't remember the details, thankfully - and was very freaked out by it and wondering why it wouldn't be more logical to have sexytime dreams about the then-new boyfriend...

He also finds me drooling over Caspian from the new Narnia film hilarious.

Edit: I like my coffee like I like my women... in a plastic cup.

Caesar salad *drools Homer-style* is amazing.

Mr Maladicta is amusing when sleepy; once the buttons on the bottom of the duvet cover came undone and he was doing them back up when I came to sit next to him. He said

"Go away, I'm knitting!"

and carried on.

Izzard fits nicely into every aspect of my life (other than my relationship: Mr Maladicta DOES NOT FIND EDDIE FUNNY other than Cake or Death.)

I ran home from the petrol station one late night after buying snacky type things in absolute hysterics after the guy in front of me walked up to the window and said "Twix please."

Ooo. Which networks are you in? Yay for ninja stalking skills, I do enough of it myself on Facebook. I was most disappointed one day when twunt ex with child locked his profile as I was waiting for him to post something embarrassing. His fiancée's profile is all squeeful about him and his just says "in a relationship" - no more, no less.

How to find B3tans on Facebook
1. Join up to the b3ta group on Facebook
2. Post a message on the group message board saying your b3ta name.
3. Stalk Find other b3tans you may know.

Easy.

Yes! That was me with my fox-fur on again.

Funnily enough I saw a young fox this afternoon sitting at the side of the road - single track country lane - looking as if he owned the place. He sauntered off as I drove past.

One of my sons suggested we run him over - I refused, but the suggestion came out of his grief at having lost half a dozen chickens to a fox only last weekend when he was with his dad at the farm. My favourite chickens were killed - Ethel and Lottie :(

@ Ancrenne
That is true...but if you want to contact other b3tans you can do it by sending them a message privately and keeping your FB profile private to all but your friends.

I don't mind my b3ta persona being linked to me...even though I have an extremely minor celebrity status amongst the farming community (entirely true, believe it or not...)...If anyone who knows me from farming links me to b3ta I'm quite happy about it. Mainly because most of my farming fans are unlikely to dip into b3ta or facebook for that matter.

But definitely keep up all the privacy things - and it's worth going back and double checking things like your photo album in FB - it's easy to have it open to everyone in your network...which could be London!

It has just occurred to me that I've lived in the same town as you for nearly a year and have never once seen you. This must be rectified. There's me, you, jamesthegill and alpha2omega around here somewhere, and we should have some kind of mini-bash.

Oh...tell you what!

Next Saturday 12th July a friend of mine has an exhibition opening in town - gaz me for the details if you're interested - there'll be free wine!
