Dell's build quality does seem to have declined across a lot of their range
The high end stuff feels well made, but the lower and mid range laptops feel like the screen will snap off when you open the lid, really cheap and plasticky.

I have a Toshiba and a Vaio and they're much better made, albeit significantly more expensive than a Dell. Even Thinkpads are pretty rubbish since the Lenovo takeover.

Can I just subtly suggest that it might be an idea to pay the fucking line rental on the fiber connection into Luxembourg so I have any chance of getting it working. Just got back from work
and I was puzzled by some strangeness on the M40. Everyone was behaving themselves, and literally couldn't dive out of my way fast enough.

It's only now that I realised exactly what was happening. It seems that leaving my high vis jacket on top of my white shirt and dark tie, and driving a car that's favoured by her majesty's finest constabulary seems to make people panic a little.
