I won't be in Edinburgh this weekend. I have a friend's birthday and it's a long way away and I don't know most of you people.

personal financial circumstances have got in the way. or should i say that they haven't yet got out of the way. i've been paid some of the money i'm owed but only the "small half". more is on the way, i have been assured.

a) I live in Spain and it's too far / too expensive
b) It's a bank holiday and I want to spend it with my hubby
