That "Lisa's wedding" episode of The Simpsons
is set next year.

This makes me feel old because when the episode aired in 1995 I couldn't imagine what life would be like in 2010.

Turns out it's just the same but now we have iPods.

given that it is mentioned a shitload in a lot of american stuff I find it amazing that (as far as I'm aware) it's never been shown on UK TV.

I remember when Mars Bars were only 7 pence.
I also remember being allowed to stay up very late when I was little and listening to the National Anthem played on the tv as the programmes had ended for the day.
