What is bringing you to musical orgasm at the moment? I want recommendations.

*has came by a nice 500GB external hard drive*

I have fallen madly in love with My Dying Bride very recently. The new one, 'The Lies I Sire' is tremendous.

This is a QotW comment I'll give him a listen, I've got fairly eclectic tastes
*youtubes*
He reminds me of Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy slightly.

It's quite good actually - pleasant and quirky.

This is a QotW comment I concur.
I specialise in quirky stuff. If you want flat out weird I'd recommend Walnut Whales by Joanna Newsom, or pretty much anything by Fiery Furnaces/Deerhoof.

off the Puscifer album V is for Vagina

Other than that, I'm still digging Clutch in quite a big way. and Jethro Tull.

and new spin-off band, Iran. Not named after the country, but rather Decker's wife in "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep". Good shit.

This is a QotW comment A band who've been around a long long time
and influenced pretty much everyone is Cardiacs. They're awesome.

Try Is This the Life or To Go Off and Things to get a flavour.

They're absolute gods live.

This is a QotW comment Lots dude
Sunn O)))), Mogwai, Burial, Kyuss, Black Flag, tindersticks, Alex Metric, Elite Force, 65daysofstatic and The Phantom Band are all ace.

I just downloaded a whole heap of Sonic Youth albums- they're a band that I should like but I don't think I do.

Am I a bad man? For not liking Sonic Youth much, not for the terrible things I do.
