Why are there no reply buttons to replies in QOTW threads

I've re-added them to Off Topic.
This could be unpopular, but there's so many replies which are "@username I agree!" then a 500 word post as per usual.
This makes life a lot more readable.
To make your lives easier, the "replies" count now counts subreplies.
For any complaints, gaz me and I'll do my best to help.

this was added a while ago
and general consensus was that most people preferred it the old way, on OT at least, so it got changed back.

I find it highly amusing that you've changed it again though, even though I prefer the old way.

not afraid to spend several paragraphs on something, rather than blurting out the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm not here to use it is an instant chatroom, I'm not hitting f5 all the time, so it's nice to not have to skim a million single line posts.

It shows when a post has new replies, and those new replies are at the bottom, easy to find.

With nesting neither is true, which makes browsing OT frustrating rather than fun.

True, but if both styles of replies get mixed up, things could be messy.

I too appreciate the work the mods put into this site - especially as they do it for free. It's just that I found I liked non-nested replies better.

Anyway, instead of complaining further, I've posted a suggestion in the link below that could make both the nested and non-nested people happier.
