Printers, the bane of my life
I've got a laser printer which is generally great but occasionally has a special moment and eats a whole bunch of paper, and I've been told it's the feed mechanism that's playing up. Apparently there is some cleaner type stuff that can be used on it. Anyone know what this is called? Would Mr Muscle work? Does anyone else think the term feed mechanism sounds like something Doctor Evil would want if he can't have the sharks with lasers on?

I'm not entirely sure, but you can get free tech support by ringing up someone like VikingDirect*
and saying what you've just said, and asking what they recomend you use.


* I only know them because for a about 3 years they had a bug in their website where you can order something, get the free gift, remove the origional item, and keep the free gift. I think I still have their coffee machine.

If it's got
rubber rollers that feed the paper in, sometimes just a bit of water on a lint free cloth will do the trick.
