This is a QotW answer Do you ever get random really sharp pains in your head

Random, "hold your head" pains, that disappear as quickly as they arrive.

I think I might be dying...

This is a QotW comment I get these.
I'm still alive at 44 so don't worry.

This is a QotW comment Just cluster headaches
I get them every now and then.

Either that, or your head is now home to a brain tumour.

This is a QotW comment Might be neck / spine related
I used to get searing headaches after *ahem* vigorous exercise. Think Spike when he had his chip installed, if you ever watched Buffy.

A lot of headaches are caused by neck/spine misalignments, apparently. A couple of visits to an osteopath for some neck and spine manipulation and voila. Rapid decrease in number of headaches that made me feel like I was going to die.

This is a QotW comment Allegedly
Pain != brain complaint

Brain contains meat, but no pain receptors. So if pain is in brain hole, pain actually occurs elsewhere.
