This is a question I Quit!

Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."

What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

This is a QotW comment Hi
I've just got back from a three year stint in NZ, they are pretty relaxed about these things. Just fly over and they'll give you a visitor permit then apply for a fresh visa while you're there. This will only work if you have funds to support yourself for the two months it'll take to process... Otherwise I dunno. Have you tried www.immigration.govt.nz?

Good luck

This is a QotW comment if you´ve already been approved
the first time then they probably wont have a prob extending it, tho id try get in touch first. If you´ve got the form signed by the local bobbies to say you´ve a good character (which i needed when i applied) then it should be fine. give em an email or phone call to be sure tho!

This is a QotW comment hmmm
Might be wrong but think you have to have had this sorted before leaving the UK (I'm presuming this is the country you're from?)

Is it the final date for entry INTO NZ or date to be out of NZ (hopefully not, if you have the 23month jobby)

You can email Immigration NZ, the websites pretty straightforward I think they took a few days to respond though, better than ringing as you have it in writing, and don't have to bother with phone queues.

Failing that, could you arrange a job before you get there? I know most employers prefer for you to be in the country first as people get the job and visa sorted then quit (hey . . . on topic)

Or just come over on the tourist visa and see if you can sort something else out?
