Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

My most memorable scar is a keepsake.It extends from the nose-side of my left eye, to nearly my hairline.
We were in a shit car, and an old Grand Prix pulled out in front of us. My seat was reclined for a nap, and - on impact - I 'sat up' to see what was going on. Nine days later, after flat-lining three times, I woke up for a piss.
I don't remember any of it.
Cosmetic surgery has made it less of a gash, though it's still pretty obvious.
