This is actually making me feel better about being a teacher...

Eeeeh not like the old days...my first form are all bank managers and bus drivers and stuff now and they take great delight in contacting me on FB to tell me about how they used to hide food in my room and plot elaborate ruses to look down my top..."but miss you were always our favourite"..yeah whatever...swines

I found it the other way round
I found most teachers prissy, anal-retentive, boring arseholes. Most of the kids were funny and interesting, even the ones who were nuisances. At the end of a year trying to teach a disinterested troublemaking 16 year-old, we shook hands and I said, "You have been a worthy adversary".
