This is a question Shoplifting

When I was young and impressionable and on holiday in France, I followed some friends into a sweet shop and we each stole something. I was so mortified by this, I returned them.

My lack of French hampered this somewhat - they had no idea why the small English boy wanted to add some chews to the open box, and saw it as an attempt by a nasty foreigner oik to contaminate their stock. Not my best day.

What have you lifted?

This is a question reply Shopdumping
I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to shopdumping, an act which may be criminal which is approximately the opposite of shoplifting.

I suffer from an unnamed bowel syndrome, which sometimes results in a colon full of bloody diarrhoea (real blood, no profanity intended) with mere seconds to find a toilet bowl. As a result, I've become quite skilled at finding public toilets to use.

Shopdumping (v): the act of going into a restaurant, store, or other business with no intention of purchasing anything, just using the toilet and leaving quickly.

This is a question reply rather than the local council waste tax money on public toilets
they should tell people to do as i do, when caught short in public: go for a Mac Shit

This is a question reply At least you actually find and use a toilet!
I visit another messageboard for customer service employees to rant about the crappy customers they've had. I used to post there when I worked in a charity shop; now I just lurk.
I remember one thread in which a customer had crapped in a changing room cubicle in a clothes shop, and left behind a note apologising and explaining that she had IBS. And that makes it all okay then, does it?

This is a question reply Shopdumping is a hobby of mine
For the same reason I can't go anywhere unless I know where the nearest toilet is and know that I can get to it immediately. I pass an Aldi halfway thru my (10min) drive home and I have to stop there on a regular basis to Shopdump. The toilet is right at the front of the shop so you don't even have to pretend to be buying anything. B&Q's toilet is quite handy too.
