Have you been stalked? Or have you done the stalking? Is that you in the bushes outside with the nightvision goggles?

Really stalked like in real life? Yes. It's very, very scary.
When I were a wee lass, wearing as little of my school uniform as I could, I was used to attracting a certain kind of male attention, and it was kind of flattering. There is clearly a line though where 'flattering' becomes 'terrifying'.
I used to see this particular car every day when I was going to school. Never thought much about it – I went to school at the same time very day, you see the same people.
Then I noticed it going past me three or five times – the guy was turning, coming back, over and over.
Then I started seeing the car on my way home from school. Then at lunchtimes.
And then, I saw it near my Mum’s house.
Bearing in mind my parents were divorced and lived about five miles apart, and my school was near my Dad’s house, I did what anyone would do and shat myself at the realisation that this nutter knew where I lived – twice over.
When he grabbed me in an alley, I decided (better late than never) that it might be sensible to tell someone, like maybe the Police. I’m not their greatest fan, but they did what I needed them to and gave him enough of a scare by dragging him in and threatening him with being charged.
Not funny, sorry. But then it wasn’t especially amusing at the time either.

because for boys stalking is usually a roguish adventure and crazy women are something to roll your eyes about later, we need to be reminded that girls being stalked by boys is often a pretty shit time.
Well done for going to the polis.

I love you and I think we're meant to be together.
Sorry... couldn't resist.

For the well done.
Not for taking on the role of new stalker. Unless you lives a long long way away. Long distance stalking would be fine.*
*I may regret this...
