When my wife was pregnant with our first Daughter
she was rushed in to hospital after passing out and going in to labour at 21 weeks.

I thought I was going to lose them both.

Clicking 'I like this' is wrongererer than ever
but holy crap that will probably beat the shit out of any other 'I was scared of XXXXX' this week. Glad that you were obviously wrong about losing them but horrible feeling nonetheless

Yeh I should have said really
Hospital sorted everything out and Mother and baby both fine, baby is now four and has a little sister.

Fucking terrifying though

I'm not surprised
The the other half is around 34 weeks and i'm still scared shitless about stuff going wrong, I bet little one must have been under specialist care because some of their internal organs haven't developed properly at that age. Glad to hear mum and baby did fine though.

When I say sorted I mean properly sorted, stopped the labour and everything baby was only 2 weeks early in the end
never been so relieved ever either.

So lucky
I am glad to hear all went well. We had a scare when I was at 14 weeks, blood everywhere, I looked like something out of a horror film, and my other half was so brave for me, even though I could see he was as scared as I was. It all was okay in the end though, I'm holding her in my arms as I type this. It really knocks you about eh. Best regards to you and your family. x

That's not surprising - ambulance drivers are trained to drive fast.
