This is a question Thrown away: The stuff you loved and lost.

Smash Wogan writes, "we all love our Mums, but we all know that Mums can be cunts, throwing out our carefully hoarded crap that we know is going to be worth millions some day."

What priceless junk have you lost because someone just threw it out?

Zero points for "all my porn". Unless it was particularly good porn...

A parents view point...
List up you whining pissers. If you think we're gonna turn our houses into junk shops on the off chance that some of this plastic tat and piles of musty comics are going to be worth a few quid in 20 years time, you can fuck right off.

Fair point.
I can remember telling my biofolks about how my Pokemon cards would be a investment.

Pfft. They were right in the end

Can't say I disagree.
Only thing is, if the parents want to be rid of the stuff they should ask the kids to come get rid of it before disposing of someone else's property. It's a basic matter of respect.

A son's view point
I've just spent several months cleaning out my dads house after he died. It was absolutely packed with railway memorabilia, and you couldn't see the carpet.

Make sure you have your shit in order, otherwise the only memorial you may have is a post criticising your behaviour on a humorous website.

@Yarblesnake
^THIS^ x A BILLION

My dad fell to pieces following my mum's death, but that was four years ago. Since then, he's barely been able to muster the will to lift a finger in what used to be our family home. Now it's a junkyard full of his crap.
