Save money on getting a car check when buying a new car
Simply enter the make/model/reg into webuyanycar, for free, and they will refuse to buy it if there is outstanding finance or its a bit dodgy.

I don't know why anyone would bother.
Scrap pays around £150-200. If your car's worth more than that then sell it properly.

Personally, I wouldn't
I've heard they give an initial valuation, then when you take it to them they find lots of 'problems' that pushes the value down waayyy below market.


Can't beat private selling, unless the car dealer's offering a good price for a trade-in.

Exactly.
If your car's a bucket of shit they'll give you £50 but subtract a £49 admin fee. Even with collection a scrapyard will give you near £100.
