Why is it...

That within 5 minutes of getting paid, all my money has magically 'disappeared' from my bank account?

Yep same here.
being employed by the Government, I find it oh so ironic that a substantial wad of what they pay me goes straight back into the exchequer.

Surely as a Government employee, being paid for out of tax payers money, I should be entitled to some sort of tax rebate? The arguement being that I also pay tax, therefore I'm effectively paying for my own wages...
