Further to the earlier thread...
Who are the 3 best acts you have seen live

Mine:
Death Cab for Cutie - ULU
Foo Fighters - SECC (Not seen them at Barrowlands yet grrr, but were still fanfuckingtastic)
Taking Back Sunday - Glasgow QMU
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:09, archived)
Nirvana - Manchester Roadhouse
Orbital - Glastonbury '94 (I think)
Guns 'N Roses - Wembley stadium
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:11, archived)
I only managed Guns and Roses
I am sure that was at one of the charity concerts where lots of acts performed. Did they do a solo concert there?
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:14, archived)
They did.
NIN supported I think.
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:55, archived)
GnR
and Faith no More too,

I seem to remember Mr Reznor spent a lot
of the gig crouched by the drum riser.
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 8:55, archived)
Alice Cooper
Martha and Rufus Wainwright
The Handsome Family
Edit: Non-music events are included? Well add Ross Noble and Derren Brown (he did a trick on me!)
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:12, archived)
I saw Rufus live once
and I cringed. I love his version of Hallelujah though.
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:15, archived)
As far as the Wainwrights go
Loudon is probably highest in my affections. I went to see Martha and Rufus after not hearing much of Rufus but having heard lots of Martha's stuff, importing her EP and loving it. Martha was brilliant plus Rufus blew me away live, so I ended up investing in his records.
Needless to say, seeing The Aviator today was a treat :)
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:20, archived)
Sid Little, Live and alone
The Krankies

Jim Davidson
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:16, archived)
I probably should have specified musical acts
or you're just being an awkward knob
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:21, archived)
Nothing awkward about my knob.
*un-does crudely tied half shank*
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:24, archived)

Bernard Bresslaw- Regents park
Peter o toole- Old Vic
Vic reeves big night out- Hammersmith
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:19, archived)
That is a truly alternative bunch
But I like your style

Orbital at the Manchester Apollo
...
...

i've not seen anyone else :/
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:21, archived)
after being in manchester i'm not surprised ;)

(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:23, archived)
Lemon Jelly
The Bikini Beach Band
And a band whose name I can't remember, the lead singer of which had curly sticky-out hair and danced around bent-over a lot. They were ace.
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:23, archived)
Gary Moore
Eric Clapton
The Darkness
(, Sun 9 Jan 2005, 1:23, archived)
I second this
