I can't help the way I am- having the downy appearance of some kind of creature you'd find on the farm in the springtime...

The Burning Ross Of Aylesbury- BWAHAHAHAHA!
'Twas that crazy year of 2002- I was in lower sixth at school in Aylesbury, Bucks, and I had a friend which I did politics with called Ross. I also had a cigaratte lighter which I used to burn things (I don't smoke- but I did chemistry so it was OK to have a bit of extra fire).

Anyway, he always wore the same jumper day in and day out. It was a lovely cream and black highlighted one, with food smears across it. Possibly made by a grandmother. Anyway, we were walking out of politics at the end of the day, and I thought it would be amusing to torment him with fire. So I lit the cigaratte lighter against his jumper- and suddenly a sheet of flame rippled across his side. We both realised the fire at the same time, and spend several seconds beating him out.

Oh the memories...
Ross now lives in Exeter.

» My Wanking Disasters

There's a guy at Uni we call "Lee"
Lee is one of those people that tries to act really mature, even though he wants to be as silly and strange as the rest of us. Anyway, some of his choice phrases of maturity include "I'm going to make a move" when it's only half ten, and he needs his horlicks and an early night. Another phrase that has stuck with us is "I'm going to chill". Great debate was made at what exactly Lee did in his chill time- from doing work, lying on his bed, willing his crappy noel edmonds style hair and beard to grow- or my guess, having a wank. So, to this day, we refer to "Wanking" as "Chillin'". Oh how we laughed the next time he said to us "I'm going back to my room to chill..."

I was in the ATC
I was doing my gliding scholarship at RAF Halton, and during the day there was very little to do, as you flew for an hour a day, and sat around for the rest of it.

This is when my love of fire started, August several years ago. We were sat outside our block, and two people happened to smoke. So, I started playing with their lighters, jacking them up and the usual thing. Then I started burning items. Taking labels off of drinks bottles and burning them to give off smoke, burning grass to give a weird smell. I discovered that spider webs burned particularly spectacularly- they disappeared in a ball of fire- along with any unfortunate spider in them...
Hair was next- there was one girl on the course who also had a penchant for burning things. she very stupidly let me burn some of her hair (that's right, the stuff attached to her head). It didn't all burn, but there were some slightly shorter areas and a strange burning protein smell that lingered for a few days.

The next bit of fun was down on the airfield. I was sat down, and decided to make a small bonfire from twigs and leaves. It was doing nicely- until i realised i was directly outside the staff office, next to the hanger and a matter of feet away from a fuel store and some aircraft...

Not really destroying much- but i feel it's the principle of the thing...
