anim is quality... you could increase the size with width=400 after the url
Edit: reducing filesize: best way is to remove superfluous frames... i tend to remove every second frame and double the time the frames are displayed for... can sometimes have bad effects on smoothness, sometimes not... but has a big effect on the filesize

Dither increases file size.And loss makes it look bleah. Stick to reducing the number of colours. Also, scan lines are your best friend.
