I lived in Basingstoke for two yearsI feel physically ill when I drive past Basingstoke. No joke. The only other place that makes me feel like Basingstoke is the former premises of my first ever summer job, a plastics factory, I worked the night shift and did a lot of speed to keep me awake, I also nearly lost my thumb to a band-saw.
