the first wobble of his face was superb, I would have prefered more of the subtletyand less of the silly arm centipedes and stuff

Probably wouldnt have been as scary or life-threatening for the characters if people just went around with their faces subtly wobbling I do wish mutant monsters in stuff like this and dead space would make more human-y / moaning / guttural noises than dinosaur roars and screams.
Some silent hill monsters make subtle human-y noises, and that makes them far more disturbing than another screamy 'im going to try and make you jump' monster.
