# Reading the article...I'm amused.
Making up for slack hygiene standards? C'mon. Clearly those fuckers have never set foot in a poultry kill plant. They're not hygienic...not as clean as your kitchen. Anything but...how could they be with the industrialized scale of guts and gore flying around? One plant I've visited processes 1.2 million chickens a week. Per week. No matter where the birds come from, they're probably got bacteria issues...it's the nature of the birds. You the consumer needs to wash the poultry you buy and for fuck's sake make sure it's cooked properly.

And if anybody asks what part of the chicken is the nugget...ALL of the chicken is the nugget...yes it's poultry putty with the lovely trade name of 'mechanically separated chicken' aka MSC. Mmmmm....putty.

# A boring public announcement, sorry...
...but ar least a quarter of chickens are riddled with campylobacter, but you make it worse by washing them. The bugs can't grow at much below 37 C but are very hardy at holding out till the right opportunity arises. So, wash your chicken (not in this case some sort of euphemism) and you spray aerosol of viable campylobacter around your kitchen. This gets picked up by stuff you aren't cooking, you then get ill.
