I`m surprised you had the patience to play with Gimp... it drove me nuts, and that was just watching somebody else use it!

you're most of the way there to being able to use it. It can be obscure at times, but hopefully a skim over the manula should get me started properly :)
I do miss photoshop but I'm sure I won't soon...
