yes, but......too often racism can flourish because it isn't addressed in any fashion. sometimes a joke which plays on racial differences can have good or neutral intent and provide a forum for discussion. if people were to speak honestly and not assume intent when the intent is at worst ambiguous, we'd solve more problems than just ignoring things ever would.
this is a message board focused on funny pictures, so race will inevitably pop up. how we deal with it indicates more about ourselves, as individual responders, than it does about the image(s) that provoke us, usually (i confess i did not see the pic that inspired all this).
