yup..I can see a point to it on medical grounds, but there are those doing that to avoid the pain, and to keep erm... er..... well.... "unstretched"

I'm guessing you're male (apologies if not)while I can see your point (and there are plenty of reasons against elective caesarians), I'll start listening to your advice when you have to face hours of excruciating pain and the potential for vastly decreased sexual pleasure in the future...
