# Lovely stuff, woo!
Minor TJ - story from the front cover of today's Metro:
'A police leader has called for black officers to be fast-tracked into top jobs, even if they lack the right qualifications. Keith Jarret said more non-white officers should be promoted because ethnic minority communities wanted the police to 'look like them'...He claimed white officers were already being promoted higher than their qualifications merited.'

Race aside, it would be nice to have some police in 'top jobs' who had actually got there on merit, no?
