# I want beer! :(
BUZZCOCKS IS ON!
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:03, archived)
# LUCKY!!!
I have to wait 'till someone YouTubes it. And GCWCF is a guest. :[

I edited this post 5 times so far to fix spelling and such. >.<
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:03, archived)
# what an odd way to spell
Christopher Biggins

you're not missing much, buzzcocks has been fairly shit since lamarr left
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:06, archived)
# Naah.
I don't mind Lamar, but I love teh Amstell. ^.^
I mean Sam Duckworth, or whatever his real name is. I heard he was on this week.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:06, archived)
# You're wrong, Simon Amstell is fantastic!
He's so witty and masculine.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:07, archived)
# This.
Except he's not very masculine, in my opinion. But I don't think Lamar was, either.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:08, archived)
# Pssst, I was being sacastic.
He's camper that a row of pink tents.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:09, archived)
# Hahah
I kinda figured. But I wasn't sure. :]
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:12, archived)
# Quick edit yours to something witty and clever and I'll do mine.
No one will ever know.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:13, archived)
# Hahah
I think it's a bit late for that!
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:14, archived)
# Ok but it's your arse on the line.
I don't think anyone will hold it against you.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:18, archived)
# No.
They know I'm a bit...dim sometimes.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:18, archived)
# mmmm BeerTube
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:06, archived)
# I'd not heard of them before but he's not doing well.
He's a bit miserable.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:07, archived)
# Awww.
A bit miserable? That's unfortunate.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:08, archived)
# He's not really said anything.
Christopher Biggend is doing well though. Quite funny.

Edit: I meant Biggens but Biggend will do.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:19, archived)
# Oh, okay.
I remember when Nicholas Hoult was on. He was really quiet, then said he wanted to go home. I LOL'd.

Also, Randomly, I watched Black Books last night because I love teh Bill Bailey. It wasn't very good. :[
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:22, archived)
# *GASP* that's unforgiveable!
I suppose you can't help it though, you're one of those Americans aren't you?
I've heard they don't have a sense of humour.

joking
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:27, archived)
# Not liking Black Books?
There were bits of it I liked, like the creepy cleaning guy, and how there was toast on the ceiling, and how they made their own old wine. But I didn't really like that awkward woman, or the canned laughter.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:28, archived)
# Hmmm...
Do you watch much British comedy? Best recent British comedy programme? Extras.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:33, archived)
# Ah!
I looove Extras. Also: The Mighty Boosh, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Big Train, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, etc.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:36, archived)
# Yeah The Mighty Boosh is absolutely brilliant.
Up untill the new series which has been so disappointing. I never thought it'd happen to them.
I've been following the from the start and on the radio to the TV and they've managed to go so far without selling out.
They've just lost their edge.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:40, archived)
# It's gotten very...
polished? It was always sweet and messy and funny. Now it's too professional looking. I'm upset.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:42, archived)
# And, to use a cliche (is that a cliche?)
they've become parodies of themselves. That is to say they've just switched everything into over-drive.
The same thing happened to Scrubs which I used to quite like. The only programme which has managed to do
a large volume of episodes without compromising is Family Guy.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:45, archived)
# Yes.
This is really true. If they do a fourth season, I hope they go back to their roots. I still watch Scrubs sometimes. It's okay. And Family Guy is pretty funny. Some of their stuff can be a little...boring, like when Peter falls and spends 5 minutes rocking back and forth and holding his knee.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:48, archived)
# That's absolutely genius!
I'm actually shouting at you now. Can you hear that across the Atlantic?
I certainly hope so.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:51, archived)
# *cowers*
Yes, I can hear you. Sorry sir. You're right and I'm wrong. *shuffles feet and stares at ground*
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:52, archived)
# Oh Science alive!
I was joking, don't cry whatever you do. I can't handle crying. It makes me go all silly.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:56, archived)
# *sniffles*
*cries*
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:58, archived)
# Exactly.
AND I'M A BRIT SO YOU CAN ALL FUCK OFF.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:35, archived)
# BUT YOU LIVE IN AMERICA
SO FAIL
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:36, archived)
# Haha
you're undermining your own arguement idiot :)
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:39, archived)
# You both fail!
Black Books is ace and that's it.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:42, archived)
# I am?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:44, archived)
# You yam.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:49, archived)

# WHAT?
WHAT IS THIS?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:59, archived)
# Sam from GCWCF is amazing
I flyered his first few tours, and watched him play a few teeny weeny gigs years ago :)
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:12, archived)
# Really?
Lucky! I would love to see him.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:15, archived)
# yup
he used to advertise on the punktastic forums when unsigned, and I used to (try) to get into band promotion. Alot of good bands came from that thing.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:17, archived)
# Like who else?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:18, archived)
# not quite as famous
but Dopamine, First Signs Of Frost, The Maple State, and Furthest Drive Home

Worth checking out FDH, I reckon you'd like 'em. They'll be huge soon, just you wait ;)
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:19, archived)
# I have actually heard
of Furthest Drive Home. I think I've heard one track, but I'm not sure. I will definitly look them up, though.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:24, archived)
# what was he, sixteen?
I had to look this guy up - his music's surprisingly enjoyable.

still rather listen to my old Billy Bragg records though
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:18, archived)
# Yay!
That's ace :D
How are you today?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:08, archived)

And you, sir?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:09, archived)
# Not bad :D
I went to see Peter Pan today, and Toby Hull and Emu were in it.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:12, archived)
# Peter Pan

(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:15, archived)
# You're so American, aren't you?
:P
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:18, archived)
# I live in New Jersey.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:20, archived)
# That explains your Americanisms, then.
I'm in Connecticut, so I should know.

We should do a mini-bash sometime.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:21, archived)
# hahah
yeah.

A North American B3ta Bash or something. Hahaha
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:25, archived)
# Yeah, there'd be - what - five of us there?
We'd have to do it somewhere central, like, say....

Kansas. I'll find us a pub to have it at.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:30, archived)
# Hahahah
Kansas. Lovely.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:33, archived)
# Pantomime.
Rod Hull's son, Toby, and Emu, his psychopathic arm-puppet.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:22, archived)
# Wait.
Is that the one that like, attacks people? I think mofaha was telling me about it...
:]
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:25, archived)
