they've become parodies of themselves. That is to say they've just switched everything into over-drive.
The same thing happened to Scrubs which I used to quite like. The only programme which has managed to do
a large volume of episodes without compromising is Family Guy.

Yes.
This is really true. If they do a fourth season, I hope they go back to their roots. I still watch Scrubs sometimes. It's okay. And Family Guy is pretty funny. Some of their stuff can be a little...boring, like when Peter falls and spends 5 minutes rocking back and forth and holding his knee.
