I am doing my usual "must get a dozen new tracks" Saturday afternoon thing.

Perhaps you can suggest a few extras for tonight's gig? (I have a summer DJ residence there).

I play relaxed stuff with a bit of a beat. Think Gotan Project, latin stuff, Jazzanova, Alice Russell, Block 16, etc.

# I do sometimes
in little spurts *giggle* so thanks, I shall add that to tonight's playlist.

# I managed to lose 40gb of music
off my compooter, but have restored a lot of it back off my Ipod. Unfortunately I haven't sorted it all out yet, I had another one for you but I can't remember what it was. If you can find The Apples version of RATM's Killing In The Name Of, that's awesome but I don't think it had a proper release, I've seen them play it live and then was so drunk I left without buying the CD :(

# That sounds amusing
I love completely different versions of popular tunes.
I have the most ace version of "Clocks" (Coldplay) on a Cuban CD I bought.
It starts off with the usual piano bit and then this wonderful cha cha cha rhythym starts.
I love playing that because when it starts I get odd looks like "OMFG WTF are you playing Coldplay" before they break out into big smiles.
