if you want old skool and happy making look out Pete Rock and CL Smooth (INI is a good Pete Rock collabo with a more reggae feel to it) or DJ Krush or Leaders of the Nu Skool.... if you're looking for something more instrumental Entroducing by DJ Shadow is a record I would recommend to anyone

While we're on doing this I think you will like Winter In America by Gil Scott Herron. You might not, but it's worth a good listen if you can get your hands on it.
