Lots of people have been asking me if they should bring anything for the BBQ and I think
the easiest option is if I buy everything and I'll just pop a box out if anyone want to
donate anything towards it (If you're short of cash please don't donate anything, I'm more
than happy to cover the costs).

On the Sunday I've been told that the Dr. Who Exhibition is on and it's about 30 seconds walk
from the hostel. So if people want something to do the next day I know there's
a few people going.

If you want to bring laptops etc there is wiffy and lockers in all dorms so that you can lock them away from the other thieving b3tards.

We had a grand time...

at the Doctor Who Exhibit at Earl's Court. If you try to go in from the Warwick Rd side, they'll make you walk around, so approach from the Brompton Rd side if feasable.

Mrs Thanatos, Les Petits Mortes and I had just spent several days in Cardiff and had visited the DW exhibit at the Red Dragon Centre across from the Millenium Centre. The Earl's Court Exhibit is waaay better. My only complaint is that it doesn't pay enough respect to the original series.

We're back in the US, having finished the family holiday on the 17th. We had a great time in London (again) with one exception - The Apartments at #59 Longbridge Rd, right there in lovely Earl's Court. The bastards took an extra ₤35 for linens for the roll-away and promised us a delayed checkout time of 2pm. Not only were there no linens provided, but when we returned to finish packing and clear out, our luggage was piled in a corner. What wasn't in the corner was in a bag for the rubbish. Thus far, they haven't replied to my request for a refund, so if anybody happens by there (it's just up the road on the left) and were to do something amusing, photos would be appreciated.

Dixon had an emergency appendectomy on Monday. He's alright, I've spoken to him, but he's only going to chance flying if he's sure he'll be alright.

Thank fuck he's ok, I've been very worried for a couple of days.
